Did you know that the State Bar of Texas offers free legal resources for the public?
Learn about liens, probate, landlord/tenant issues, homeowner issues, divorce, jury duty, and more in a variety of pamphlets. They’re free to download, or you can request up 20 printed copies of each for free.
While these aren’t a substitute for working with an attorney, your clients may benefit from learning the basics.
The State Bar of Texas website says: “The public is free to download, duplicate, and distribute the informational pamphlets for noncommercial purposes, as long as the content is not altered and credit is given to the State Bar of Texas and Texas Young Lawyers Association.” I am not sure that we can distribute the pamphlets to our client and customers as this may be for a commercial purpose.
Great offering. Is there one on Community Property? A great tool to send to a client with a note to contact an attorney.
